NON-CREMATED OR EXHUMED

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

1. Death certificate. (Original and 2 copies).
2. Embalming certificate of the corpse, sealed by the undertaker's and physician's signature (original and 2 copies). Or for Exhumed Human Remains: exhumation certificate sealed by undertaker's and signature of the physician (original and 2 copies)
3. Translation sanitary permit (original and 2 copies)
4. For the United States where these documents are not issued (for example MTY, Translation Sanitary Certificate) documents supporting the fact must be included with the corresponding signatures.
5. In case the human remains have been subject to previous investigation, attach Corpse Delivery Certificate issued by Attorney General's office. (Only for domestic transportation)

Export Shipment:

1. Seals and signatures of sanitary authorities of the Origin Airport.
2. Shipper must submit official documents (signed or certified by the origin shipment country consulate) necessary for the export required by in transit and destination countries (original and 2 copies)
3. In case the shipment is sent to a destination different from Latin America (Spanish-speaking countries), all documents must be translated into English.
4. In case the shipment is sent to Latin America and documents are not in Spanish, they must be translated into Spanish.

PACKAGING AND LABELING:

1. Coffin over wooden base, covered with waxed cardboard and tighten with cloth strips (human remains without coffin are not received under any circumstance).
2. The wooden base must have resistant handles to facilitate direction.
3. Cloth strips must be secured to the base.
4. The external packaging must state the location of the head saying "HEAD".
5. Complete name of deceased.
6. Each side of the external packaging must have the following information: (This information will be available after the documentation process)
7. Prefix and track number (AWB) (ex 976-12345678)*.
8. Complete route. (ex. CJS-MEX-BJX)*.

TO BE CONSIDERED :

1. Human remains will only be accepted to be transported with confirmed reservation from origin to final destination, making the corresponding previous agreement between the undertaker and Aeromexpress.
2. Service will be provided only from Airport to Airport.
3. Shipper's and addressee’s data will be from undertaker to undertaker.
4. Human remains cannot be consolidated with other goods; however, they can be consolidated in a shipment composed only of human remains.
5. Shipment cannot smell badly.
6. Contact our Customer Service department in order ship Human Remains.

CREMATED / ASHES

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

1. Death certificate. (original and 2 copies).
2. Sanitary permit for cremation (original and 2 copies).
3. For the United States where these documents are not issued (for example MTY, Translation Sanitary Certificate) documents supporting the fact must be included with the corresponding signatures.

Export shipments:

5. Complete route . (ex. CJS-MEX-BJX)*.
